AML & KYC Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

This is a standard template covering the required clauses. Final wording must be reviewed and approved by qualified legal counsel before launch.

Frost applies a risk-based anti-money-laundering and know-your-customer approach to keep criminal funds off the platform and to protect players and the business. This policy explains what we check, when, and what happens while a check is open.

1. Our approach

1.1 We assess risk across accounts and transactions, and we concentrate our checks where risk is higher. Verification is not required automatically to deposit, play or withdraw; our staff decide when it is needed.

1.2 This policy applies to every account and every transaction on the Platform, and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited activity

2.1 You must not use Frost to launder money, to finance terrorism, to evade sanctions or taxes, or to deposit, move or withdraw funds derived from crime.

2.2 You must not deposit funds that are not yours, use another person's account or wallet, use the Platform to move value between persons, or deposit and withdraw with little or no play to disguise the origin of funds.

2.3 Breach of this section leads to closure of the account, and we may withhold funds where the law requires or allows it.

3. Identity verification (KYC)

3.1 We may ask you to verify your identity at any point, including during a security, fraud or compliance review. When we do, we tell you which documents we need.

3.2 Verification is tiered. Tier 1: a valid government-issued photo identity document and a verification selfie, a photograph of yourself holding a one-time code we give you next to your face. Tier 2: proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement. Tier 3: evidence of the source of your funds, such as payslips, bank statements or records of the sale of an asset. Each tier requires the ones below it.

3.3 Documents must be clear, complete, current and match your account details. We may reject a document and ask for another, and we may ask for further information to resolve an inconsistency.

3.4 Documents are reviewed by our own staff.

4. What happens while verification is open

4.1 While a verification request is open, or while your account is flagged as requiring verification, any withdrawal you request is accepted and held for review rather than paid, and tips you send are refused.

4.2 Once the documents we asked for are approved, a held withdrawal continues through our ordinary review and is paid when a member of our staff approves it. A rejected document does not hold withdrawals by itself; while a request stays open, you can send a replacement. If documents are not provided, or are rejected and not replaced, held withdrawals are not paid, and we may restrict or close the account.

4.3 You can continue to play while a request is open, unless we restrict the account.

5. Monitoring

5.1 Account activity and transactions are monitored for unusual patterns that may indicate fraud or abuse, such as a fast cash-out after little play, unusual betting or transaction velocity, or a significant cash-out from an account with no identity on file.

5.2 These signals are reviewed by our team, who may ask for documents, hold a withdrawal, restrict products on an account or close it. Every withdrawal is reviewed before it is sent.

5.3 We do not disclose the thresholds or rules our monitoring uses.

6. Deposits and withdrawals

6.1 Deposits must come from wallets or payment methods that you own or control. Withdrawals are paid to the address you provide, and we may require a withdrawal to be paid to the method from which the corresponding deposit was made.

6.2 Daily and per-transaction withdrawal limits apply and may be set per account.

7. Record keeping

7.1 We keep transaction records, and identity documents, for five years after an account is closed. At the end of that period the personal details on the account are anonymised and the identity documents are deleted; the financial records and the record of the verification decision are kept without anything that identifies you.

7.2 Records are kept securely, with identity documents encrypted at rest and access restricted to authorised staff.

8. Cooperation with authorities

8.1 We cooperate with competent authorities when legally required, including by responding to lawful requests for information from courts, regulators and law enforcement.

9. Contact

9.1 Questions about this policy or a verification request: open a support ticket from your Account in the Account category and say that it concerns a compliance matter.
