Changing your password

Changing your password from time to time is one of the simplest ways to keep your account safe, especially if you think it may have been seen by someone else.

Here is how:

1. Open your account settings from the user menu. 2. Go to the password section. 3. Enter your current password, then your new one. 4. Save.

A new password must be at least 12 characters long, with at least one letter and one number. Common passwords, and passwords that contain your username or email, are refused. A phrase of a few unrelated words is easy to remember and hard to guess.

Once it is changed, every device signed in to your account is signed out, and we send you an alert. If you ever receive one and did not make the change yourself, reset your password straight away and open a support ticket.
