Memo or tag
Some networks, such as XRP and The Open Network, use a single shared address for many accounts. To tell deposits apart, they add a short extra code called a memo or a tag.
When your coin needs one, the Deposit tab shows it right next to your address, with its own copy button. If you do not see a memo, your coin does not need one.
When you send, paste both:
1. The address, in the address field of your exchange or wallet. 2. The memo or tag, in its own field, which is often called Memo, Tag or Destination tag.
Always include it. A deposit sent without the memo cannot be matched to your account automatically.
If you forgot it: open a support ticket with the transaction ID, the coin and the amount, and we will look into it with you.
