Why every withdrawal is reviewed
When you request a withdrawal, a person on our team checks it before it is sent. That might sound slower than a fully automatic payout, so here is why we do it.
A review protects your account. If someone ever got hold of your password, they could not simply empty your balance to their own address. It also keeps payouts safe for everyone on Frost.
While your withdrawal is in review, the funds are set aside for you. They are not in play, and nothing can happen to them.
There are two possible outcomes:
- Approved: your withdrawal is sent, and you get a notification at each step. - Declined: the full amount goes back to your balance, and the notification tells you why.
Important: a request cannot be cancelled once it has been submitted, so double-check the address and the network before you confirm.
